Matt
Matt is your typical Avid (or Rabid) Mac gamer. Knowledgable and informed on all things Apple, his devotion to his mac went so far as to lug a B&W G3 case from Maryland to Ontario, and is seconded only to his love of anime. A true Otaku* at heart, Matt collects everything from CDs to posters to figures, and buys anime exclusively on DVD to capture every aspect (as well as to avoid awful dubbing). His artistic nature was born of this passion, and fills the role of "Arty Guy" in the realm of the comic. Matt's life goal is to actually finish a mainstream RPG, a feat which has eluded him to this day, which his collection of PSX memory cards will attest to. James
James is a strange paradox: fanatic gamer and all around geek, he however despises all things math and technical and prefers words and writing. James' obsession rides mainly in games, devoting himself to Windows platform on the sole reason of game compatability. Long sleepless nights have honed his skills in everything from FPS to RPG to RTS. Despite being an enthusiastic anime fan, he is known as a "renter", only actually owning three tapes of anime, he is however known to rent stacks of tapes too large to carry unassisted. James is also training to be an evil genius, drawing many inspirations from the great villans of anime and games. To this end he often ransoms off text to Matt in exchange for computer grunt work. Elisa
All around sweet and nice person, Elisa and James make for quite the couple. Not a complete uninitiate into the world of anime, she is a devoted fan of Japanese Sailor Moon, and does know that yes, those are lesbians and yes, that guy is really a girl. Constantly at odds with James' obsessions for games, she has been known to go through any means necessary to win these battles. Elisa's obsession comes from a different source entirely: The Beatles. Fan extraordinare, she can recite songs by heart and knows more triva about the boys than most would consider humanly possible. |
